Sidewalks/Driveways/Parking Slabs

WHAT DOES NOT REQUIRE A PERMIT?

Painting/Papering/Carpeting
Other “Finish” Work
Accessory Structures such as Tool Sheds, Storage Sheds, Children’s Playhouse, etc. smaller than 120 sq ft – other restrictions may apply
Oil Derricks
Movable Cases/Counters/Partitions under 5 ft 9 inches high
Window Awnings in Residential Areas

It is also a violation of the Building Code to occupy, use, or maintain any structure that is unsafe or dangerous to human life, health or welfare.
